Dr. April Anderson, Assistant Principal 

I am honored and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal of Reuben B. Myers Canton School of Arts and Sciences! It is a privilege to be part of a school community that is committed to excellence, innovation, and student success.

With seventeen years of experience in education, including the past seven years at Reuben B. Myers, I am passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that strong partnerships among students, families, and staff are the foundation of a thriving school community. By working together, we can foster a culture that inspires achievement, celebrates growth, and ensures every child feels valued and empowered.

One philosophy that guides my work is, "What we do most is what we do best." This reminds us that intentional, consistent actions shape lasting success. When we commit to high expectations, meaningful relationships, and continuous growth each day, we create opportunities for our students to reach their fullest potential.
